
Hanna Guides Cards To Win At CSU Invite

CHARDON, OH - - The University of Louisville men's golf team battled back from 15 strokes behind to defeat TCU at the Cleveland State Invitational in its first fall event on Tuesday in Chardon, Ohio.
Sitting in seventh pllace after two rounds on Monday, the Cardinals carded a low-team round of 282 to win the event in a field which featured TCU, Purdue and Texas Tech. TCU finished one stroke behind the Cardinals and Kent State was third just three strokes back.
Senior Will Hanna fired a low round of 68 to climb to fourth place overall, shooting 74-72-68=214 for the two-day event. Sophomore Derek Fathauer, who started the day in 21st place, shot 71-74-70=216 to climb into a tie for eighth.
Sophomore Daryl Fathauer ended the day tie for 22nd by shooting 72-77-72=221 and Adam Rainaud was also tied for 22nd with 76-73-72=221. Freshman Adam Hadwin rounded out the field with 75-80-75=230.
