LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville football program officially opened the 2005 campaign on Saturday morning at its annual media day activities at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The Cards open practice for their first season in the BIG EAST Conference on Saturday afternoon.
U of L opens the 2005 season on Sunday, Sept. 4 against Kentucky at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, Ky. The ESPN-televised game will kick-off at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
Fans are invited to watch practices from August 6-13. Practices will be closed from August 14 through the Kentucky game.
