- With the loss to Memphis, the Cardinals had their 10-game home winning streak snapped. It was their first loss at Freedom Hall since falling to Kentucky, 60-58, on Dec. 18, 2004.
- The loss to Memphis snapped Louisville's eight-game league winning streak, which matched their highest ever since joining Conference USA.

- The 17-point home loss to Memphis was the worst conference defeat at home since the Cardinals lost, 74-57 to UAB on Feb. 21, 2001.
