
Pitino Previews Saturday's Matchup with Akron at Freedom Hall

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and freshman forwards Terrence Williams and Chad Millard met with members of the media on Friday to preview the Cardinals' home game against Akron on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall.
It will be U of L's fifth straight home game to open the season. In their last outing, Taquan Dean scored 30 points to lead the Cardinals to a 53-45 victory over Richmond as U of L swept the three-game, round-robin Colonial Classic. U of L is in the midst of its final exam period, which runs from Dec. 7-13. Akron, which posted a 19-10 record last season, is 3-1 after a 123-52 pounding of Denison on Wednesday.
