
Pitino Previews Saturday's Showdown at Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino, senior guard Taquan Dean and sophomore David Padgett met with members of the media on Friday to preview the Cardinals' road game against Kentucky on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
After opening the season with six straight home games, U of L will be playing its first game on the road against intrastate rival Kentucky. Taquan Dean scored 21 points to lead four Cardinals in double figures as U of L won 78-54 over Chicago State on Tuesday. U of L used another torrid second half shooting effort (.654) and a 42-22 rebounding advantage to pull away from the Cougars. Kentucky (22nd ESPN/USA Today, 23rd AP) stands at 6-3 after 79-53 loss to Indiana on Saturday.
