
Pitino Previews Cards Exhibition Opener Against Bellarmine

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino, senior guard Taquan Dean and Bellarmine head coach Scott Davenport met with members of the media on Tuesday at Freedom Hall to preview U of L's exhibition opener against Bellarmine Wednesday at 7 p.m. EST at Freedom Hall. The game will be televised live by WHAS-TV.
It is the first time since 1971 that U of L has faced the NCAA Division II Knights, a team from Louisville that is coached by Davenport, a former U of L assistant. The exhibition comes 19 days after practice began for the Cardinals on Oct. 14.
