LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's basketball program officially opened the 2005-06 campaign on Thursday as it hosted its annual media day at Cardinal Arena on the U of L campus. Head coach Rick Pitino and the Cardinal players discussed the 2005-06 season, the program's first as a member of the BIG EAST Conference, with members of the media.
The Cardinals will host a Red-White intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. ET at Cardinal Arena. U of L will open the exhibition season on Nov. 2 against Bellarmine at 7:05 p.m. ET at Freedom Hall and will open regular-season play on Nov. 19 at home against Tennessee-Martin.
