- After opening the game hitting just 2-of-10 field goals from the floor, the Cardinals hit 11-of-17 from the field to open a 34-11 lead. U of L held ECU to 21.5 percent shooting from the floor, had 15 turnovers and were held to a season-low 15 points.
- Sophomore Brandon Jenkins had a first half to remember, connecting on a career-high three 3-pointers and hitting on 4-of-6 shots from the floor. He scored 11 points and dished out one assist.
