Fun and Excitement Surround Sunday's Home Football Opener

Louisville, Ky. - There will be plenty of excitment and entertainment surrounding Sunday's home opener football game with the University of Kentucky and Louisville, but there will also be plenty of fun held off the field. In an event new to Cardinal fans, the Cardinals will team up with Velocity Magazine to present a special area for fans to enjoy food and entertainment just inside Gate 3. at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. Along with inflatables for children, the Velocity Music Stage will also be an attractive feature to Cardinal fans. The music begins this Sunday at 1:30 when the Big Rock Show will play prior to the game. The band No Excuse will play on October 2 and Fistful of Nothing will entertain fans on October 22. Renault will play on November 10 and Kimmet closes out the season on November 27. Admission is free and all fans are encouraged to attend.
