LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville football program officially opened the 2004 campaign on Friday as it hosted its annual media day at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
The Cardinals open their season on Sunday, Sept. 5 as they host Kentucky at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The ESPN-televised game will begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The team practiced for two hours Friday afternoon for two hours at the football complex. Quarterback Stefan LeFors and J.R. Russell were sharp during the two-hour workout. The team will conduct its first two-a-day practice on Saturday afternoon at 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
