LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Freshman forward Juan Palacios had 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead 13th-ranked Louisville to a 78-48 exhibition win over NAIA Division I Lindsey Wilson Tuesday night.
The Cardinals (4-1) led 43-32 with 15:52 to play before scoring 16 unanswered points over the next 5 minutes to lead 59-32. Palacios scored eight of his points and Lorenzo Wade made two 3-point shots during the decisive run.
Guard Brandon Jenkins, starting in place of Taquan Dean, added 15 points while Wade, a freshman, added 11 points and Ellis Myles had 10.
Louisville finished 51 percent from the field (25-of-49) and outrebounded the Blue Raiders 35-31. Louisville forced 23 turnovers and scored 27 points off those mistakes.
John Spivey led Lindsey Wilson with 13 points and 10 rebounds while Scott Cook added 12 and Terrance Taylor had 10.
Lindsey Wilson was just 31.3 percent on field-goal shooting (15-of-48), including 3-of-20 3-point attempts.
