Recap | Box Score | Notes
Louisville Coach Rick Pitino
"We didn't have Taquan Dean and we are a much more competitive ball club with him. Taquan was experiencing pain and we sent him to the doctor who told us it was normal pain, part of the healing process and there is supposed to be pain. So he can go about his normal activity. I am between a rock and a hard place. If I play him a lot he gets sore and if I take him out for too long he gets stiff and can't get back in it right away. With Taquan we are a better perimeter team. He keeps the defense honest and he knows how to run our system. But B.J. did a good job for us."
(About Florida) "We have to improve our rebounding, it is a weakness for us. They are coming off a tough loss and should have won their last game. They will contend for the SEC crown and it is a very tough place to play."
Lindsey Wilson Coach Paul Peck
"Depth was a factor in the second half, it was difficult to maintain the pace they set. His (Coach Pitino's ) 8, 9, and 10 players are better than my 8, 9, and 10 and that is the difference in the game. Lorrenzo Wade was a huge difference in the game because I thought we handled Garcia and O'Bannon fairly well. It was a great opportunity to play for our guys. It is time for us to go back to our level. We just found out we are ranked No. 3 in NAIA behind Concordia (Calif.) and Mountain State (WV). We aren't quite ready to play in Conference USA, although there might be some teams we would like to think we are competitive with."
