
Cardinals-RedHawks Tabbed as Third-Best Bowl Game

Louisville, Ky. - The 2003 GMAC match-up between the University of Louisville and Miami University on December 18 in Mobile, Ala., is rated the third-best bowl game by the College Football News.
The Rose Bowl, which pits Michigan vs. USC is the top game, while the Sugar Bowl game with Oklahoma and LSU is the second-best contest,
The Cardinals and RedHawks feature two of the most explosive offenses in the country and the two of the most underrated quarterbacks in the country in Louisville's Stefan LeFors and Miami's Ben Roethlisberger.
Louisville brings the nation's sixth-rated offense to Mobile, averaging 488.6 yards of total offense, while Miami is ranked fifth at 493.1 yards a game. LeFors has been steady for the Cardinals, throwing for 2,921 yards and 15 touchdowns, while Roethlisberger has tossed 31 touchdowns and threw for 4,110 yards.
The game will be televised live on ESPN2.
