WR Tiger Jones blocked a punt in the first quarter - U of L's second blocked punt this season, and the first since WR J.R. Russell blocked one against Kentucky.
WR J.R. Russell caught a pass in the first quarter giving him 21 straight games with a reception - the second longest on the team. Russel has amassed 847 yards receiving (on 53 catches) this year, the eighth-highest gained in a single-season at U of L.
QB Stefan LeFors threw his first interception in his last 128 pass attempts. It was the first interception since Oct. 11 against Army.
TE Ronnie Ghent has now caught a pass in 35 straight games during his career - the third-longest streak in school history.
RB Eric Shelton didn't play versus Memphis and will not play next week against Houston due to a sprained neck suffered in the Cardinals' last game at TCU.
