
Myles Earns Conference USA Co-Player of Week Honor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville forward Ellis Myles, a 6-7 sophomore from Compton, Ca., has been named the Conference USA Co-Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 2.
Myles shot 64 percent from the floor with 17 points and a Conference USA record-tying 23 rebounds in an 81-63 win over Tennessee State. This was the best single-game rebounding effort by a Cardinal in more than 30 years. Myles? 14 offensive rebounds against TSU are a Conference USA record. He has double-doubles in each of his last two contests.
Myles shares the award with South Florida forward B.B. Waldon. Waldon shot 73 percent from the floor en route to a 23-point performance against Prairie View A&M and recorded his third double-double of the year with 18 points and 15 rebounds in a 79-59 win over California. For the week, Waldon shot 67.8 percent from the floor while posting 11 rebounds per night.
