Safety Curry Burns' 31-yard fumble return for a touchdown was the first fumble return for a TD since Courtney Dinkins had a nine-yard fumble return for a score at Army last year (10/7/99).
With seven catches for 96 yards today, WR Arnold Jackson moved into the top ten all-time among Division IA receivers (23 catches this season for 228 yards). His 260 career catches moves him within 39 of breaking Nevada's Trevor Insley's NCAA Division IA mark of 298 career receptions (he is No. 9 all-time now). Jackson caught a school and Conference USA record 101 passes in 1999.
WR Arnold Jackson caught a pass in his 39th consecutive game tonight, the second-longest active streak in the nation.
