
Volleyball Beats Marquette With A Vengence

With revenge in mind for the loss earlier this season, the University of Louisville volleyball team upended Marquette 15-1, 15-1, 15-6 to move its winning streak to 13 matches.
The Cardinals are now 20-6 and 11-3 in Conference USA play. Marquette drops to 7-20 and 5-9 in the league.
"Our loss to them in Milwaukee was not something we took lightly and we weren't going to let it happen at home," said Leonid Yelin.
The Cardinals hit .462 while the Golden Eagles had more errors than kills on 95 attacks. Louisville outblocked Marquette 11-1.
The Cardinals were led by Bing Sun who had nine kills. Lesley Drury had seven kills on eight attacks for a .875 hitting percentage. Anastasia Zaitseva have five kills and two aces.
