Wilson began her career as a Huskie and comes into the 2025 season as a senior for the Cards. Â
2024: (At Washington) As a junior for the Huskies last season, she amassed 706 assists, leading the team while averaging 6.03 assists per set. She recorded 20+ assists in 22 games last season and 30+ assists in three games. Molly set a season high in assists with 37 against Minnesota on Nov. 7th, 2024, while adding a career-high in blocks and digs with four and 15 respectively. She recorded a season high four aces in her lone NCAA Tournament appearance against Loyola Marymount, where the Huskies lost in five sets. Molly played well enough to post double-digit assists in all 31 matches she played in last season. She led the Huskies in aces with 32. Wilson ranked second on the team in total digs, with 257 and averaged 2.20 per set. She recorded eight double-doubles in assists and digs, which puts her career total at 22. Off the court, Molly earned CSC Academic All-District Team and Academic All-Big Ten Team honors.
2023: In 2023 as a sophomore, Molly secured her spot as the starting setter, starting in 30 of 31 matches and recording 934 assists (8.19 per set). Molly was second on the team in digs again, with 273 (2.39 per set), and led the team in double-doubles with 14. She ranked fourth on the team in aces with 24. Molly added her first 40-20 game against Cal Poly on Sept. 14th, 2023, with a career-high 47 assists and a career-high 21 digs. She put up a career-high five kills without an error against Colorado on Oct. 13th, 2023, adding 31 assists and 12 digs. She had another 40+ assist night in a 3-1 win over Oregon State on Oct. 1st, 2023, totaling 45 assists with three kills, 10 digs and four blocks. In her first career start, against UTEP in the season opener on Aug. 25th, 2023, she recorded a double-double with 29 assists, 12 digs and posted three kills. Molly earned CSC Academic All-District Team honors for the first time as a sophomore.Â
2022: In 2022 as a redshirt freshman, Molly played in 20 games and 46 sets, where she saw time as a defensive specialist for the majority of the season. She recorded six aces on the season and 16 digs. She made her collegiate debut against Iowa on Sept. 4, 2022.Â
2021: Molly redshirted the 2021 season as the Huskies went on to play in the NCAA Round of 16 and won the Pac-12 Championship.
Prep: A native of Murrieta, Calif, Molly was honored as a senior at Murrieta High School as the Female Athlete of the Year. She led Murrieta to the 2019 California Division I state championship as the No. 5 seed her junior year, and was named 2019 All-State, All-SoCal Varsity Team and All-Southwestern League twice in her high school career. She played club volleyball for Coast Volleyball Club, where she helped her team finish fifth in the 2021 Junior Nationals Open division.
Personal: Daughter of Travis and Desiree Wilson. Born Dec. 22, 2002. Pursuing a Masters of Science in Couples and Family Therapy.Â
