Bio
2021: Jamie played in seven sets primarily as a serving specialist. She had two aces at Xavier for her season high.
2020: Jamie played in one set and uncorked an ace and notched a dig against Miami.
2019: In her first year as a player, Jamie played in five matches, with a pair of assists against Tennessee Tech as her season high. Jamie excels in the classroom and is a member of the ACC Honor Roll and is a Red and Black Scholar.
Prep: Jamie comes to Louisville from Bloomington, Illinois where she played for Normal Community High and Illini Elite Volleyball Club for Coach Joe Sanders. At NCHS, she was Team MVP and captain. She led the Big 12 conference in assists and was named First Team All-Area and All-Area MVP. She also ran track at NCHS, where she qualified to run in the state championship in the 4x200 relay. She was also an accomplished gymnast, reaching Level 8 before concentrating on volleyball.
Personal: Daughter of Mary Beth and Jim Vasilou. Born August 15, 2000. Major is sports administration.
