Prep: Aniah Philo joins the Cardinals from Rockwall Heath High School in Rockwell, Texas, where she played for head coach Maggie Younger. In her high school, she was a part of two district champion squads while also being named First-Team All-District three times. Aniah was also named to the Lonestar 2014-2015 All-Texas Second Team and was selected one of the 2013 Vype Magazine 100 Queens of the Court. She was named team MVP three consecutive years, named most outstanding hitter and won the Academic Award as well. Aniah also played for the TAV National club and was a member of the 17 Open National Championship team for Coach John Sample. She was named in the Senior Aces Top 100 and was named as a PrepVolleyball All-American 3rd team outside hitter. She was named as her club team’s best all-around player.
