2019: Alexis Hamilton started in every set of every match at libero for the Cardinals. Her defense earned her All-LUV Tournament honors. She amassed a team-high 467 digs. An aggressive server, she launched a team-high 30 service aces with .937 accuracy. She led the team in digs with 467. She 26 matches in double-digit digs, with a season high of 27 at Notre Dame. She had 20 + digs in nine matches including 24 at Virginia Tech, 23 versus NC State, UNC and Syracuse. Against No. 2 Texas, she had nine and two aces. Her season high was seven aces against Tennessee Tech and three at Boston College. She had a total of 69 assists, led by seven versus Dayton. An outstanding student, Alexis is on the ACC Honor Roll, All-ACC Academic Team and is a Red and Black Scholar.

2018: Alexis had a medical redshirt in 2018.

2017: Alexis played in 27 matches for a total of 88 sets. She had 19 assists, three aces, and 135 digs for the Cards. She had a season high four digs against Notre Dame (9/22). She had aces against Illinois, Notre Dame and Kennesaw State.

Prep: Hamilton played her high school ball for Assumption under the tutelage of Ron Kordes. She played club at KIVA, also for Ron Kordes. At Assumption, she earned all-state, all-tournament honors as well as All-Regional honors as a senior while making All-District as a junior. She is a Senior Ace and a second team Under Armor Team All-America member. At KIVA, she was a JVA All-National team member in 2015 and 2016 and won the JVA Leadership Award in 2015 and was an All-American as 13’s and 14’s.
