2022:Â Alexa played 111 sets and recorded 22 assists and 97 digs. She had a season-high seven digs in the reverse sweep against Georgia Tech. She recorded multiple assists on eight occasions, including against Texas in the NCAA Tournament. Alexa played 20 sets in the NCAA Tournament, notching six assists and 16 digs. She recorded six digs in the Tournament win against Pitt to help send the Cards to the National Championship.Â
2021: As a junior, Alexa played in 106 sets and recorded 123 digs and 33 assists. She had a season-high six assists versus Kentucky with a season-high nine digs at Duke. She had eihght digs versus Arizona State, Xavier, and Ball State. She was named to the ACC Honor Roll and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
2020: As a defensive specialist, Alexa has played in 35 sets with five assists, and 31 digs. Her best match came at Duke where she had nine digs. Â An outstanding student, she was named as a Dean's Scholar (Spring 2020), made the Dean's List (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021), is a Red and Black Scholar (Fall 2019, Fall 2020) and a member of the AD Honor Roll (Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Fall 2020, Spring 2021) and the 2020 ACC Honor Roll.
2019: Alexa Hendrix played in all but four matches for the Cards as a solid defensive specialist. She had a season-high 12 digs against North Carolina with nine versus NC State and seven versus Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, recording 105 in all. She notched 11 aces over the season with two versus Xavier, two at Wake Forest and two versus Virginia. She also recorded 26 assists with a season high of four at Cincinnati and versus NC State. An outstanding student, she was named to the ACC Honor Roll and is a Red and Black Scholar.
Prep: a 5-7 libero from Louisville, played for Assumption HS and KIVA will stay and play in her hometown. In 2016, she helped her team to an 11th place finish at the 2016 AAU National Championships. In 2017, her team was the Bluegrass Tournament Champions and the Central Zone Champions before placing third at the 2017 JVA World Challenge. That year, at SPVB Junior Nationals, KIVA finished in first place and ninth at the 2017 AAU Nationals. At Assumption, she helped lead her team to the 2017 & 2018 Durango Fall Classic Championships, 2017 KHSAA State Championship as well as the 2018 KHSAA State Champions. Assumption was named as the 2018 National Champions with a perfect 43-0 record.
