2006-07: Red & Black Scholar ... Closed the season as the coxswain for the Cards' 2nd Varsity 4+ boat, which won the program's second ever BIG EAST Championship and advanced to the Open 4+ Grand Final and finish fourth overall at the NCAA South/Central Region Sprints ... Also coxed for the Cards' 2nd Varsity 4+ boat which competed against Minnesota.
2005-06: Spent most of her second season as the coxswain for the Cards' Varsity 4+ boat ... Led her crew to a second-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships and at the Head of the Licking and fifth in the "B" Final at the NCAA South/Central Region Sprints ... Also led the Cards' Varsity 4+ crew against Tennessee and Minnesota ... Was the coxswain for U of L's third-place finish in the Open 8+ "B" race at the Head of the Elk ... Red & Black Scholar.
2004-05: Selected as Most Improved Novice Rower ... Spent her first college rowing season as the coxswain for the Novice 8+ boat ... Directed the crew to an eight-place finish in her first-ever race at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia ... Also directed the N8+ crew to a fifth-place finish in the "B" Final at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn., and a pair of wins over Murray State at the Derby Festival Regatta ... Also competed in races against Notre Dame, Indiana, Tennessee and Minnesota ... Red & Black Scholar.
Prior to UofL: As a prep athlete at Villa Madonna Academy, she competed for four years in soccer, three years in track and field, two years in softball and cheerleading and one year in swimming ... Was track and field team captain as a senior.
Personal: Born on April 25, 1986 in Covington, Ky. ... Daughter of Jerry and Pam Fitzpatrick ... Has two siblings, Ryan and Erin ... Majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry ... Hobbies and outside interests include cake baking, reading and hanging out with her team ... Chose the University of Louisville because it is an incredible environment! It has the resources of a large university but the atmosphere and friendliness of a small school ... Says the best thing about the city of Louisville is that there are constantly events going on and things to experience ... Thinks the best thing about U of L rowing are her teammates who are great people and make getting up at 5 a.m. worth it ... Favorite class is histology ... After she graduates, she plans to go to medical school ... Says her best race came at the 2007 BIG EAST Championships when her boat defeated Notre Dame.
