Gabi Biedenharn is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Louisville rowing team.
Biedenharn began coaching a year after completing her collegiate rowing career at Louisville, where she was named captain of the team during her senior season. In 2015, Biedenharn and her team achieved a fourth-place finish in their first appearance at the ACC Championship and a No. 17 national ranking.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Biedenharn contributed to Louisville’s team sweep at the 2014 American Athletic Conference Championship where she was a member of the title-winning Third Varsity Eight. In 2015, Biedenharn stroked the 3V8+, which placed second in the ACC, as well as achieving a third-place finish in the same boat her senior year.
