Cardinals to finish off regular season as 1 of 20 teams at Lake Wheeler Invitational
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville rowing is setting its sights on its final regular season regatta of the year at the Lake Wheeler Invitational hosted by North Carolina and Duke in Raleigh, N.C.

Louisville is one of 20 teams competing in the Lake Wheeler Invitational. The field includes six ranked teams as well as seven teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Cardinals are competing with five boats at the regatta including Varsity 8, 2V8, 3V8 Varsity 4 and 2V4. The entire weekend is already scheduled out in three heats per race with three rounds of heats for each race over the course of the two days.
Louisville's 3V8 squad will kick off action for the weekend at 9:30 a.m. ET on Friday in the very first heat of the very first race. The 2V4 will compete at 10 followed by the V4 at 10:30. The Cards will get back into 8+ racing with the 2V8 at 11 followed by the V8 at 11:30.
Following the lunch break, Louisville will race at 2:25 p.m. (3V8), 2:55 (2V4), 3:25 (V4), 3:55 (2V8) and 4:25 (V8) on Friday.
To finish off racing, the Cardinals will take the course again on Saturday morning at 9:10 a.m. (3V8), 9:40 (2V4); 10:10 (V4); 10:40 (2V8) and 11:10 (V8).
