Freshman guard was one of four walk-ons on the Cardinals' roster from the state of Kentucky.
Saw action in five games as a freshman.
Handed out his first career assist in his initial collegiate appearance against Samford.

High School:

Averaged 5.4 points as a senior in helping duPont Manual High School post a 19-11 record and the district championship.
Scored eight or more points on six occasions as a senior.

Personal:

Born Oct. 23, 1993 ... Son of Phillip and Sharon Bond ... Has two older siblings (Phillip, Lauren) ... Major is undecided.
His father Phil Bond was the starting point guard on Louisville's 1975 NCAA Final Four team, is third in career assists at UofL with 528 and was an Academic All-America selection in 1976.
His brother Phil played basketball at the University of Charleston.
Personal goal at U of L is to graduate in four years with a business degree.
Enjoys bowling, pool and photography in his spare time.
Chose to attend U of L because it has a "great business school and is close to home."
Best basketball advice given to him was to play every game as if it's your last.
Few people know that he bowls a lot.
