Andrew Coverdale begins his first season as an Senior Offensive Analyst for head coach Jeff Brohm.
The veteran assistant high school coach won 12 state championships and one national title during his scholastic coaching coach between St. Xavier in Cincinnati and Trinity in Louisville.
As the offensive coordinator at St. Xavier, Coverdale led his squad to the 2020 Ohio state championship.
Serving as the offensive coordinator at Trinity, Coverdale led the Shamrocks to 11 state titles during his 17 seasons, and his 2011 squad were crowned national champions.
While tutoring the quarterbacks at Trinity, Coverdale oversaw two of the three most accurate passing seasons in school history. Cam Smyth completed 74.8 percent of his throws in 2008 and Nick Bohn finished with a 79.9 percent completion rate in 2017.
Coverdale coached current offensive coordinator Brian Brohm at Trinity 2001-02, where he was tabbed as the National Player of the Year in 2002.
He has also been the head coach at Castle, Ind., for three seasons (2006-2008) and previously had been an assistant at Taylor University.
Coverdale graduated from LSU in 1993 and earned his master’s degree from the University of the Cumberlands in 2018.
