LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville running back Isaac Brown was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for week nine announced by the Louisville Sports Commission on Tuesday.
Brown is on the weekly honor roll for the second time this season, also earning a spot on the list in week six.
Brown turned in another impressive showing in Louisville's 52-24 win over Stanford on Saturday.
The junior rushed for 139 yards on just nine carries, scoring three rushing touchdowns for the first time in his career. He also added three catches for 33 yards and another score.
Brown was the first Louisville player to score four touchdowns in a game since Lamar Jackson did so against Florida State on Sept. 17, 2016.
The Miami native has tallied 100 yards or more on the ground in three of the last four games, racking up 510 rushing yards and seven touchdowns over that span. He also has seven receptions for 100 yards and two scores over the last four.
Brown and the Cardinals have rushed for at least 200 yards in five of eight games this season and rank second nationally in rushing touchdowns and yards per carry.
Louisville now heads to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
