Bio
- Suffered a second torn ACL in his left knee early in a practice session on Sept. 28, had surgery to repair the ligament on Oct. 11 and will miss the entire season. He will serve as a student assistant coach for the 2012-13 season while completing his degree.
Last Year:
- Played in just two games during the 2011-12 season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee against Lamar on Nov. 13 and missed the remainder of the season.He had surgery Nov. 29 to repair the damage.
- Expected to return to the court in October.
Sophomore Year:
- Double-figure scorer in 11 games as a sophomore and also handed out at least four assists in seven games.
- Stellar game off the bench against Marquette in the BIG EAST Tournament quarterfinals, totaling 22 points - second highest of his career -- a career-best six three-point goals in 10 attempts, two blocked shots and three assists without a turnover.
- Had nine points, a career-high matching three steals and made 3-of-6 three-pointers at Rutgers.
- Grabbed a career-high eight rebounds against DePaul and added six points on a pair of three-pointers.
- Buried a pair of three-pointers at No. 5 UConn, including one with 22 seconds remaining in the first overtime period when the Cardinals were trailing by four points.
- Missed two games (WKU, Morgan State) and eight days of practice with a sprained right ankle he suffered in practice on Dec. 21.
- Had 14 points and four assists against Seton Hall off the bench in the Cards' BIG EAST opener, hitting 3-of-5 three-pointers. He followed that performance with 11 points and four assists at USF.
- His 45 three-pointers in 31 games were more than double what he made as a freshman (20) and he more than doubled his freshman year scoring total.
- In his first career start, he made the first basket (a three-pointer) and grabbed the first rebound in KFC Yum! Center history against Butler when he totalled 11 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Freshman Year:
- Saw action in 27 games as a freshman for the Cardinals.
- 82 of his 94 field goal attempts were from three-point range.
- Scored a season-high 12 points at then No. 2 Syracuse, making 4-of-12 three-pointers, and adding four rebounds.
- Scored 10 points off the bench at Seton Hall.
- Played well off the bench at Providence, scoring 11 points while connecting on 3-of-5 three-point goals. Marra hails from Smithfield, R.I., about 15 miles from the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence where the game was played.
- Scored 11 points against Charlotte, adding three rebounds and two steals.
- Scored his first collegiate points on a three-pointer against Morgan State (11/22).
High School:
- Averaged 15.3 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds as a senior in helping Northfield Mount Hermon School to an 18-10 record and the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC Tournament. He connected on 36 percent of his three-point attempts.
- Ranked among the top 50 shooting guards in the nation by ESPN.com and was listed No. 42 among the nation's top shooting guards by Scout. com.
- Averaged 19.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals as a junior in helping Northfield Mt. Hermon to an 18-10 record.
- As a junior at Mt. Hermon, he scored 36 points in one game while hitting 10-of-11 three-pointers.
- Spent three seasons at Smithfield (R.I.) High school before moving to Northfield Mt. Hermon. He averaged 22.1 points and 11 rebounds during the 2006-07 season at Smithfield when he hit a school-record 111 three-pointers.
- Scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Black Squad in the 2009 Wazoo Sports Derby Festival Classic All-Star game in Freedom Hall. He was also a finalist for both the slam dunk and three-point shooting competitions.
- Selected Louisville after also considering Notre Dame, Providence, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
