Junior: Did not compete in 2020-21.
Sophomore: Piszczorowicz continued to provide valuable freestyle depth for the Cardinals during the first semester. At the Purdue Invitational, he won the 200 freestyle (1:35.17), finished fifth in the 100 freestyle (43.86), and took 20th in the 500 freestyle (4:31.95) before going on to place 19th in the 100-meter freestyle (50.09) at the Toyota U.S. Open. He placed third in the 100 freestyle (45.37) and fifth in the 200 freestyle (1:40.27) in the dual meet against Tennessee while taking second (45.11) and fourth (1:39.50) in those events versus Notre Dame.
Freshman: After joining the team in January, Piszczorowicz was an immediate scoring threat for the Cardinals. At the NCAA Championships, Piszczorowicz earned All-American honors as a member of the Cards’ sixth place and school record breaking 800 free relay. He also competed individually in the 200 free and raced in the preliminary heats of the 200 and 400 free relays. He won his first ACC Championships title in the 200 free, stopping the clock in a time of 1:33.51 for the gold. He also finished 13th in the 100 free (43.03) and was a member of the Cards’ gold-medal 800 and 400 free relays, as well as the bronze medal 200 free relay. Despite competing in just four dual meets, Piszczorowicz tallied six top-three finishes, including a sweep of the 100 and 200 free in the victory over Missouri.
Prep: Piszczorowicz joins the Cardinals from Kalisz, Poland, where he attended J. Kusocinski High School in Warsaw and swam for Coach Pawel Wolkow at the G-8 Sport Club. He is a 2017 Junior European Champion in the 4x100 freestyle relay as a member of the Polish Junior National team. Piszczorowicz also participated at the 2017 World Junior Championships in Indianapolis, where he won silver as a part of the 4x100 freestyle relay for Poland. He holds best times of 22.79 in the 50-meter free, 49.50 in the 100-meter free, 1:49.81 in the 200-meter free, 4:02.34 in the 400-meter free and 54.78 in the 100-meter fly.
