Louisville Returns Home to Face Butler; No.30 Notre Dame on the Road

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team will return to the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center Friday afternoon to face Butler before hitting the road to take on Notre Dame on Sunday with both matches slated to begin at 12 p.m. ET.
The Cardinals are coming off a two-match road trip where they split matches against Florida State and Miami, beating the Seminoles in a 4-3 comeback effort and then falling to the Hurricanes 4-0. In Friday's match, redshirt senior Allie Gretkowski clinched the match for the Cards after a hard fought 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 at No. 4 spot, giving UofL its first conference win since 2023.
Cardinals vs. Butler (3-9)
Series Record: Louisville is 7-1 all-time against Butler with the first meeting coming in the 2002 season.
Last Meeting: April 17, 2021 | Louisville won 6-1 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center
Scouting the Bulldogs: Butler is currently 3-9 overall, coming off a 7-0 road victory over Valparaiso last weekend.
