No. 22/20 Louisville Concludes Homestand with Ball State

Cards are 6-2 at home this season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The No. 22/20 Louisville women's basketball team (8-3, 1-0 ACC) is closing out its current homestand Wednesday night, December 10, against Ball State (8-2) at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals and the Cardinals are set to square off at 9 p.m. ET and it will be broadcast nationally on the ACC Network.
The Cards are closing out a stretch of 7 of 8 home games and all eight of their games have been played in the city of Louisville. Wednesday's game will be the ninth home game of the season for Louisville and they are a perfect 6-0 at home against unranked opponents.
The Cards offense and defense has been clicking in their home games this year. Louisville is averaging 85.4 points per game and holding opponents to just 55.9 points per game at home. The Cards have scored 90+ points in four of their eight home games and eclipsed the century mark against Bellarmine. Defensively, they have held opponents below 50 points in four games and held two opponents to under 40 points.
Tajianna Roberts has been the catalyst on offense for the Cards as she leads the team with 14.1 points per game. She has scored in double figures a team-best nine times this season and three 20-plus point outings on the year. Two of the three 20-point outings have been against Top-20 opponents. She scored 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting in just 13 minutes of action in the most recent win over New Hampshire on Sunday.
Louisville has gotten strong contributions from its bench this season. They average 34.8 points per game off the bench, a mark that leads the ACC and ranks eighth nationally. In Sunday's win over New Hampshire, the bench (47) outscored the Wildcats (43) on their own. It is the third time this season the Louisville bench has outscored their opponent in the game.

Ball State was picked to finish fourth in the MAC Preseason Coaches poll prior to the season. They are coming off a 2024-25 campaign where they won the MAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship.

Center. Mariya Moore had a game-high 22 points, leading the Cardinals in scoring for the third time. She added five rebounds, five assists, and one steal, and connected on 6-of-9 3-point attempts. Myisha Hines-Allen, Louisville's only other double-figure scorer, produced 14 points and two rebounds in 15 minutes of action.
