Bianco Named to NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Louisville's Izzy Bianco has been named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Senior Team as announced by the organization today.

The honor celebrates their competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence within their programs. Selections are based on nominations submitted by NFHCA member coaches and reviewed by committees composed entirely of NFHCA coach members. Seniors are eligible for selection only once during their collegiate careers.

Bianco, a midfielder from Berlin, N.J., has served as a team co-captain for the past two years. Throughout her career, she played in 76 games, scoring nine goals and dishing out six assists and was a 2024 NFHCA All-West Region second team selection.

In addition to her collegiate success, she has been a member of the USA Field Hockey U-21 team for the past three years, helping the team to Silver Medals at the Junior Pan American Championship in 2024 and 2025.
