
Plumb and Bianco Earn NFHCA All-West Region Honors

Aimee Plumb selected to first team, Izzy Bianco named to second team
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville placed two players on the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-West Region teams as announced by the organization today. Aimee Plumb was selected to the first team while Izzy Bianco earned second team recognition.

Plumb takes home her fifth straight all-region award after scoring four goals and dishing out four assists for 12 points on the season. The midfielder and team co-captain from Canterbury Kent, England, also picked up her third all-ACC accolade this year, adding to her resume which also includes a pair of NFHCA All-America honors (2021, 2022.
She has been a mainstay for the Cardinals' offense throughout her time at Louisville, finishing her career ranked seventh on the program's all-time list for points (86) and goals (30) and ninth in career assists (26).

Bianco (Berlin, N.J.) earns her first all-region nod after finished the season ranked second on the team with five goals, three assists and 13 points – all career highs. The midfielder and team co-captain also helped the USWNT to a Silver Medal in the 2024 Junior Pan American Championship. She has been a member of USA Field Hockey Under-21 team since 2023.
