LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's soccer team tallied a 3-0 victory over Bellarmine on Monday night at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium.
Louisville (2-0-0) secured its second straight shutout to begin the season as Alex Svetanoff recorded his second clean sheet.
Gage Guerra got the scoring started on Monday night, heading home his first tally in a Louisville uniform in the 15th minute. Konstantinos Georgallides, who netted the game-winning goal in the season opener against Tulsa, was on the helping end of the opening goal with a cross from the left side finding Guerra in the center of the box.
Sander Roed doubled the Louisville advantage in the 23rd minute, collecting a pass from Bryce LeBel and slotting it home with his left foot.
The match went to halftime at 2-0 and remained that way until the 77th minute. Quinton Elliot played a perfectly weighted pass through the Bellarmine defense to a streaking Ethan Subachan, who chipped the goalkeeper one-on-one for the first goal of his collegiate career.

The Cardinals will now head on the road for the first time in the regular season to take on UNC Greensboro. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Friday night.
