Bentley Named All-ACC, Louisville wins two Petite Finals
RALEIGH, N.C. -- The University of Louisville rowing team finished seventh after two days of racing at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.

Virginia won its 13th straight ACC Rowing championship for its 21st ACC title of the 22 ACC championship regattas. Louisville's Caitlin Bentley earned Second Team All-ACC honors. Â

Louisville's Third Varsity Eight boat made the Grand Final where the Cardinals finished sixth with a time of 7:25.658.

In the Petite Finals, the Cardinals notched a pair of wins when the Varsity Eight boat turned in the time 6:43.228 for the victory. The other win came from the Second Varsity Eight boat that clocked in at 6:59.878, almost six seconds ahead of second place Boston College, in a decisive victory.

The First Varsity Four boat finished third in the Petite Final with a time of 7:51.116.
