Cardinal Divers Set for NCAA Zone C Qualifier

Competition begins on Thursday in Bloomington
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville will send seven divers to compete at the 2023 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Thursday, March 9 through Saturday, March 11 at the the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center as regional divers attempt to qualify for the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
The Cards will vie for 59 qualifying spots, 29 for men and 30 for women that are allotted to Zone C between the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard and platform diving events.
The Cardinals' diving squad will be led by ACC platform silver medallist Else Praasterink, who will be joined by Jiselle Miller, Grace Leonard, Lindsay Gizzi, Adam Sneden, Che Stephens and Thomas Dowling. UofL is coming off a strong showing at the ACC Championships where they were the second highest scoring dive team and had two of the top five scoring divers in the ACC.
