
No. 23 Cards Hit the Road for Indiana

Louisville takes on Indiana Friday at 5 p.m.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No 23-ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team will return to action on Friday when the Cardinals head to Bloomington, Ind., to face Indiana University for a 5 p.m. matchup.

The Cardinals (7-2) are coming off of last Sunday's doubleheader in which they defeated Michigan State 6-1 and Tennessee State 7-0. Prior to that, Louisville battled with No. 2 Kentucky, but fell short in a 4-3 loss.

Louisville stands at No. 23 in the ITA team rankings released on Feb. 8 after dropping one spot from its season-high No. 22. The Cardinals also boast four singles players in the top 125 and a pair of nationally-ranked doubles teams.
In singles, Fabien Salle stands at No. 26, a career-best for the graduate student who carries a 15-6 overall record and is 3-2 in dual matches. Sophomore Natan Rodrigues is slotted at No. 47 and has compiled a 14-5 singles record with a 3-2 mark in dual matches. Â Etienne Donnet follows at No. 53 with a perfect 9-0 mark in dual matches and a 16-3 overall singles tally. Fellow senior Matthew Fung rounds out the ranked Cardinals at No. 121 with a 7-5 overall record in singles (3-2 dual).

In doubles, Salle and Rodrigues stand at No. 14 in the ITA doubles rankings. The duo brings a 19-5 overall doubles record (3-1 dual) into the weekend. The No. 39-ranked tandem of graduate student David Mizrahi and freshman Will Mayew have teamed for a 10-4 doubles tally (2-0 dual).
