No. 19 Cardinals Host No. 23 Washington on Wednesday

The Huskies are 11-0 heading into Wednesday’s matchup
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The No. 19 Louisville women's basketball team (10-2) has one final game before the holiday break as an undefeated opponent will travel to the KFC Yum! Center this week. The Cardinals will host No. 23 Washington (11-0) on Wednesday, December 20 in the Huskies first ever trip to Louisville. The Huskies are the second-straight ranked opponent the Cardinals will face and the matchup will be aired nationally on the ACC Network.
Louisville has had success at home this season as they are 6-0 at the KFC Yum! Center heading into Wednesday's matchup. In those six games, the Cardinals have averaged 82.7 points per game and have outscored their opponents 496-300. Opponents are averaging just 50.0 points per game at the Yum! Center this season and the Cardinals have limited opponents to 59 points or less in four of the six home contests.
Washington leads the country in scoring defense this season heading into Wednesday's game. The Huskies have limited opponents to just 45.6 points per game through their 11 games. In those seven games, Jefferson has shot 50 percent or better from the floor six times. She scored 11-straight points in the second quarter and finished with a team-high 19 points against No. 17/18 UConn this past weekend.
