Louisville Set for Quarterfinal Matchup at No. 2 Notre Dame

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's soccer team travels to take on second-ranked Notre Dame Sunday in the quarterfinal round of the ACC Championship. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on the ACC Network.
LAST TIME OUT
Louisville picked up a dramatic 2-1 double overtime victory at Pitt in the ACC Championship opening round on Wednesday. Mason Tatafu scored the first goal in the 104th minute and Damien Barker John followed with a goal from beyond midfield in the 105th that proved to be the game-winner.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
Louisville is playing in its seventh ACC Championship quarterfinal match. The Cardinals are 3-1-2 in the quarterfinal round but have not advanced past the quarterfinals since winning the 2018 ACC Championship.
The winner of Sunday's match will meet the winner of Duke and Clemson on Wednesday in the semifinal round.

Sunday will mark the 25th all-time meeting between Louisville and Notre Dame, with the Irish leading the series 13-9-2. The Cardinals had lost all 10 previous matchups in South Bend prior to last season's 2-0 victory.
