LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team swept No. 24 Northwestern 4-0 Sunday afternoon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cardinals (3-0) will take on Eastern Kentucky at 5 p.m. in the second half of the doubleheader.

The Cards got on the scoreboard early with a pair of doubles victories to go up 1-0 over the Wildcats (3-1). David Mizrahi and Matthew Fung picked up a 6-1 victory on court two for over Steven Forman and Gleb Blekher. The No. 9 ranked duo of Natan Rodrigues and Fabien Salle outlasted the Wildcats' Simen Bratholm and Ivan Yatsuk 6-3 to secure the first point of the match.

Mizrahi notched the first singles win for the Cards, defeating Blekher 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 6 spot. On court five, Sergio Hernandez dominated Presley Thieneman in set one 6-0, before mounting an impressive comeback in set two winning 7-5 after trailing 5-2 early on.

No. 42 Etienne Donnet capped things off for Louisville at the No. 3 spot as he defeated Simen Bratholm 6-3 in both the first and second sets to complete the win.
