Griffiths Leads After Round Two at Schooner Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – University of Louisville sophomore Carmen Griffiths finished round two of the Schooner Fall Classic in first place overall. She shot 5-under-par 65, her career-best single round score. Round one saw Griffiths shooting 2-under-par 68, totaling her score to 7-under-par 133 going into the final day of competition on Sept. 26.
The team is currently in 11th place overall behind Tulsa, with a total score of 9-over-par 569. Florida State tops the leaderboard at 8-under-par 552.
Gabbi Bentancourt is in a tie for 22nd, shooting even par 140 in the first two rounds. Lauren Thibodeau is in a tie for 70th carding 9-over-par 149, Mairead Martin is in a tie for 75th with a score of 10-over-par 150, and Rylee Suttor is 83rd with a score of 14-over-par 154.
Tomorrow's rounds will have a shotgun start beginning at 9:30 am ET.
