Hartlage Tied for 17th at Women's United States Open

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Former University of Louisville women's golfer Lauren Hartlage is tied for 17th after the first two rounds of the United States Women's Open Friday at the Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.

After shooting an even-par 71 on Thursday, Hartlage followed up with a 2-under-par 69 to enter the third round seven shots off the lead. The former All-American birdied three of the first five holes and five of the first nine to card a 2-under-par 33 on the front nine. She connected on a 50-foot birdie putt on the seventh hole to record a birdie.

The back nine saw Hartlage record just one birdie to shoot and even-par 36. The Elizabethtown, Ky., native will tee off Saturday at 12:05 p.m.
