Rowing Heads North to Face No. 6 Michigan

The Cards will race the Wolverines on Belleville Lake
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The (RV) University of Louisville rowing team will face the No. 6-ranked University of Michigan on Belleville Lake this Sunday. Â
The Cardinals are coming off a strong showing at the Lake Wheeler Invitational last weekend. Louisville finished fourth of 16 teams. On the final day of racing, the 2V8 and the V8 boats both finished second with the V4 and the 3V8 both finishing third after three rounds. The Cardinals will use this weekend to gear up for the impending Atlantic Coast Conference Championship which will be held May 11-14 in Clemson, S.C.
The face-off between the Wolverines and the Cards will consist of a six-race session, including two varsity eight events, three varsity fours and a novice/third varsity eight race. Â
