Louisville heads to Boston College on Sunday as ACC play continues
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The University of Louisville women fell 4-3 at Syracuse in ACC women's tennis action Friday afternoon in Syracuse.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles points when Sasha Goranchyuk and Rhea Verma fell 6-2 at No. 1 and Andrea Di Palma and Tatiana Simova fell 6-2 at No. 2. Dina Chaika and Chelsea Sawyer registered a win as the Orange defaulted at the No. 3 slot.

In singles, the Cardinals began the match leading 2-0 because of Syracuse's defaults at No. 5 and No. 6. Andrea Di Palma was the only Cardinal to register a win with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Polina Kozyreva at No. 1.

UofL is back in action at Boston College on Sunday at noon to continue ACC play.Â
