Field Hockey Opens Spring Season This Weekend at Trager Stadium

The University of Louisville field hockey team will open the spring season this weekend with the Louisville 11v11 Spring Tournament. The Cardinals will welcome Ball State, Bellarmine, Indiana, Miami (Ohio), Ohio State and Ohio University to Trager Stadium for the two-day tournament which will take place Saturday and Sunday.

About Louisville
The Cardinals finished the 2021 season ranked sixth in the National Field Hockey Coaches' poll after earning their 10th NCAA tournament bid. The Cardinals posted a 16-4 overall record, matching a school record for wins. Additionally, UofL won the 2021 ACC regular season title after compiling a program-best 6-0 record in league play.
