Field Hockey Spring Schedule Announced

University of Louisville field hockey head coach Justine Sowry has released the Cardinals' 2022 spring schedule.

Louisville will open spring competition in the first weekend of April with the Louisville Spring Tournament. The Cardinals will welcome Ball State, Bellarmine, Indiana, Miami (Ohio), Ohio State and Ohio University to Trager Stadium.

The following weekend, the Cardinals will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich., where they will face the host Wolverines along with Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern and Ohio State.

UofL will wrap up spring play on April 16 at Indiana, taking on the Hoosiers, Ball State and Miami (Ohio).

The Cardinals finished the 2021 season ranked sixth in the National Field Hockey Coaches' poll after earning their 10^th NCAA tournament bid. The Cardinals posted a 16-4 overall record, matching a school record for wins. Additionally, UofL won the 2021 ACC regular season title after compiling a program-best 6-0 record in league play.
