Field Hockey Summer Camp Dates Announced

The University of Louisville field hockey team will hold four different camps over the summer. All camps will take place at Trager Stadium and are limited only by age, grade level, and/ or gender.

2022 University of Louisville Field Hockey Camps and Clinics
Cardinals Skill Camp - June 13-16 (5-13 years old)
The 2022 Skills Camps are designed for 5-13-year-old girls and boys. This is a fun and challenging opportunity to learn the international sport with top college players and experienced coaches.

The camp will focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game including passing, receiving, tackling, hitting, goal scoring, and gameplay. Campers will be grouped and coached according to age and experience. Open to beginners, elementary, and middle school participants.

Cardinal Elite Camp - July 5/6 (8^th-12^th grade)
The Elite Camp is designed for high school-aged girls and boys who want to play at the next level. The camp will consist of a combination of individual fundamental skills, team tactics, and game play. Campers will be grouped according to age and experience.

This two-day camp is high intensity and allows players a snapshot into the world of Division I Field Hockey. Drills are designed to play at a game pace and increase decision-making with and without the ball. Specialty instruction is provided for goalkeepers.

Cardinals Team & Elite Camp - July 29-31 (8^th-12^th grades)
Preparing for the championship? Looking to develop team chemistry? Need some help developing midfield possession and attack? The 2020 Team Camp is the perfect preseason preparation for your upcoming fall season. Sessions will include the development of fundamental skills, set plays, team tactics, and competitive gameplay. Playing surfaces include Trager Stadium, Lacrosse Stadium, and Cardinal Park to prepare teams for the 2019 season! University of Louisville Sports Performance staff will provide professional and safe training catered to Field Hockey performance. Sessions and menu picks include Movement (speed & agility) and Conditioning, Functional Strength Training, Regeneration/Recovery strategies and Performance Nutrition Education. Open to Varsity, JV and
Freshmen high school teams. Team & Individual sign-up available. Individuals that sign up will be on the "Future Cardinals".

*Please note: This is a commuter day camp only.

Cards Elite Clinic - June 13 4pm-6pm; June 14 4pm-6pm
The 2022 June Cards Clinics are designed for 7th- 12th grade girls and boys. This is a competitive and challenging opportunity to improve your skills & gameplay with the UofL field hockey coaching staff.
