TEAM NOTES

Louisville is now 5-20 all-time against Virginia and has lost five straight to the Cavaliers.
- Virginia has won 14 of the last 15 meetings between the two.
Louisville drops to 3-6 all-time in the ACC Tournament.
The Cardinals allowed a season-low 51 points on Wednesday.
- The 51 points scored are the lowest by a Louisville opponent since Evansville scored just 44 on Nov. 25, 2020 and the fewest by an ACC opponent since Pittsburgh was held to 46 on Dec. 6, 2019.
Virginia finished the night 0-for-6 from three, the first Louisville opponent not to make a three-pointer since Pittsburgh shot 0-for-4 for the game on Feb. 11, 2015.
- It is the first loss for the Cardinals when an opponent didn't make a three-pointer since losing 68-51 to Connecticut on Feb. 2, 2009.
Louisville won the rebounding battle 36-34, marking just the fourth time the Cardinals have lost this season when outrebounding the opposition.
