TEAM NOTES

Louisville is now 26-17 all-time against Notre Dame and 6-10 against the Irish on the road.
Louisville scored 34 points in the paint on Wednesday, two shy of its season-high against an ACC opponent.
The Cardinals were just 2-for-3 from the free throw line, their third game this season with just three free throw attempts (DePaul, Virginia).
Louisville was 5-for-30 from the three-point line, the third straight game with at least 30 attempts from outside.
- The Cardinals have attempted 30 or more threes in five games this season.

Jae'Lyn Withers finished with a game-high 20 points, matching his career high set against Prairie View A&M on Nov. 29, 2020.
- Withers led the Cardinals in scoring for the second consecutive game.
- Withers has scored in double figures in three consecutive games, averaging 15.0 points per game over that stretch.
- Withers was 9-for-17 from the field, both of which were career-high totals.
- Withers is the fifth different Louisville player with a 20-point game this season (Curry, Ellis, Locke, Williams)
El Ellis scored 13 points, 11 of which came in the first half.
- Ellis reached double figures for the fourth consecutive game. He is averaging 16.5 points over the last four.
- Ellis connected on three three-pointers, giving him multiple makes from three in each of the last four games.
- Ellis grabbed five rebounds as well, one shy of his season high.
Dre Davis turned in his eighth double-digit scoring effort with 10 points in the loss.
JJ Traynor scored five points in eight minutes off the bench in his first game action since Dec. 14 against Southeastern Louisiana.
- Traynor entered the night with just three points on the season.
Roosevelt Wheeler led the Cardinals in rebounding for the first time this season, grabbing a career-best six in 13 minutes.
